Irate Calleigh

3 days after her 1st cerelac , she never ever voluntarily opens her mouth. I have to play sneaky before she opens it. Whew! I tried different flavors of cerelac and she's not interested. I even tried fruits and veggies and still won't work.

This is how she screams at me every time I feed her

Hmmmm, sa ayaw at gusto ni daddy bibili na kita ng gerber anak... lets see if Calleigh will like it.

First "Solid Food"

Calleigh is already a six-month-old, and it's time to introduce “solid food”. The doctor’s advice was to give her Cerelac first while teaching her how to eat. We can introduce 3 different kinds of food to her in a month. One new food a week for observation. If Calleigh has no allergies to the food after a week, then we can add another one.
Cerelac - Wheat and Milk

It was so much fun seeing her expression while preparing her food. She looked really curious. I think she was already craving for it! Then I fed her 1/4 spoon of Cerelac, amazing...she quickly leaned forward to catch the spoon!

I will slowly plan out her meals, and not expose her too fast, so she won't have to adjust to change too frequently, and later, might refuse food. I read somewhere that babies get bored very fast with their food, and if we keep changing their meals, we will end up with a baby with no appetite for food.

Celebrating Calleigh's 6th month

July 23, 2010

Happy 6th month Calleigh! ^^

Chocolate Cake from Red Ribbon
 Yummy!!!

No nebulizer PLEEEEAAASSSEEEE!!!

"It takes patience and common sense to help minimize baby's discomfort."

Calleigh seems to have cold. She is sneezing, watery eyes, cranky, breathing heavy and a runny nose. It didn't seem to bother her too much; she slept pretty well still and never ran a fever.

Doctor's advice: 2ml of Plain NSS solution every 1 hour.

Here we go....

She hates it! So, no more nebulizer for my princess. Just keeping her upright as possible while nursing. wawa naman si honey... =(

Cooing to Babbling

Date: June 20, 2010

Calleigh's first Chicka minute with Papa Jay and Tatet.

She talks NON-STOP!!! She not only goes to sleep talking, she wakes up talking, too. She usually wakes up happy and we can hear her yammering away (telling Barney what she dreamed about, hehehe).
