Calleigh - 21-23 months

She's turning 2! Yey!

Calleigh is still a picky eater but she has developed some decent self-feeding skills – like filling a spoon with food and getting it into her mouth, spearing food with a fork, and drinking from a cup.

She surely knows the meaning of NO! And you can hear her saying that all the time. Whew! And this line too – “ I said Calleigh LANG!” She’s very opinionated with flawed reasonings, and we are slave to her moods.  

Whether being silly, throwing a tantrum, or banging a drum, she may seem like a revved-up ball of energy with an uncanny ability to keep going and going.

Terrible 2 indeed! One thing I discover to make her listen is DISTRACTION and we don’t give in right away. Good luck honey! Mas matigas ang ulo ni mommy sayo. heehee!

Colors

It's my mom's birthday tomorrow. ^^ But, She gave me these gifts. I wonder why? heehee! 

Twistable crayons! Cool!  it doesn't break and whatever toxic chemicals in it won't stick to my hands.

When the tips get worn down, just twist them up and you're ready to keep on coloring. The clear plastic barrels keep them from breaking and make it easy to see how much color is left.

Scribble scribble

Recently, I've noticed that Calleigh seemed very curious about pens, markers and pencils again. (started scribbling when she was 9months old) She has, up till recently, had the tendency to find pens, no matter how hard I tried to hide them and find a way to scribble on the floor, her mat, toys and on her skin and ate's face and legs. We let her use the gift she received from Kuya Malik, a mat and a pen which you can fill with regular tap water.(forgot the name of it hehe!)

water turns "ink" but only on the surface of the drawing mat, after she drew on the mat, drawing disappear in minutes. ^^
