Calleigh loves watching the first part of her Barney CD so much that she keeps on repeating it without actually reaching the end. Today, she finally made it to the last part. She liked it, too, she asked me to repeat 1 song and she did this...
I should never have been surprised when she started mimicking the whole thing, but, hey, I am a mom. Everything she does, surprises me.
They say that - Toddlers are in the business of becoming their own person. A toddler
will often insist that she can do it herself, and that she can and must do
it her own way. Oh-well, hayaan natin... heehee!
She started taking short 5-10 steps by herself... Weeee!^^ Good job honey!

Calleigh really enjoys her freedom. The problem here is... ayaw na matulog ng 9pm kasi mas gusto niya maglakad sa room. haist! 1 week na kaming 11pm natutulog. kaloka!
What? How can you discipline your child if you won't say NO!! waaaahhh!
Calleigh's pediatrician says: Do not use the word No to your toddler until she reaches the age of 3. If you keep on saying No to her and when she reach the age of "The terrible 2" ,Calleigh will not listen to you anymore and you will hear her saying NO all the time. She will throw that word right back at you. Try to limit using the word No, use different words and give her options then explain why. Yaiks! Good thing Calleigh knows the STOP sign long before hearing the word NO, and she knows it when I give her "the look" the right facial gesture and tone of voice to tell her "I don't
like what you're doing". Hehehe!
It's impossible not to say that word! Kaloka! We were trying not to say it since last week. Ang hirap!!! hahaha! but yeah -- it is effective you won't hear Calleigh saying the word NO na din. BUT this is what she'll tell you if she doesn't like it.... I DON'T LIKE!!! waaaaahhh! bwiset!
