Calleigh the Explorer. ^^ She has mastered the art of
crawling, sitting, standing and the world of temper tantrums. Ugh!
Here are some new things she’s been doing:
-
Baby sign language / asl – more, food, bath,
sleep, telephone, hi and bye
-
Learned how to give kisses and hugs, following
commands like: no, come here, lie down, pull, stop, answer the phone, read,
sing, dance... There are a lot of phrases that she
is beginning to understand and it's amazing to know that she is learning to
communicate in different ways. She will now hand me things when I ask for them.
She usually wants them back pretty quickly, though.
-
She says the following words with ease: mum, daddy,
papa, mama, hi, baba (baby), wow, no,
go, hair, NYE at at at GANDA. Heehee!
-
She can walk while holding onto furniture.
-
Still coping with
separation anxiety.
(I just learned that - Sneaking away from your
baby without saying good-bye is a definite no-no (that erodes her trust in you)
YAIKS!
She’s been working her ways to express herself, such an
adorable jibber-jabber. ^^ She’s turning 10 months tomorrow, moving on to
bigger-kid stuff...
