TAHO! TAHO! TAHO!!

Calleigh is still a picky eater. She's already on her 7th month and still doesn't like to eat fresh fruits nor vegetables. I consulted her pediatrician about it and mentioned the list of what she eats. All from healthy options - Earth's Best Rice cereal and jarred baby food.

And doctor said: It's fine as long as she's eating and drinking her milk. She's only 7 months old and nothing to worry about, I can give her anything except for real beef, chicken and fish (not yet). Her milk can still provides her all the vitamins and nutrients her body needs. So, okay okay okay!!! no more praning mode mommy... ^^

One morning, after feeding Calleigh her breakfast, we saw "manong taho". Calleigh was starring at my "TAHO" and we let her taste it.

Ooopppsss!!! Before giving it to Calleigh, I already made my own research about it.^^

TAHO - Silken Tofu

- It has a lot of health benefits as it is made of soybeans, water, white gelatin, sago pearls, and brown sugar. Soy-based food products are widely considered to be health foods since these are rich sources of protein, fat, carbohydrate, calcium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, thiamine, riboflavin, vitamin B4, and folic acid.
- according to Mama C - HINDI MABUBUO ANG TAHO KAPAG MADUMI. ^^  hmmmmm! GO!!!

We let Calleigh taste the silken tofu only, NOT the pearls (SAGO). I know the cup is also "dirty" but it was MY taho. We just let her try it.  ^^ guilty?
"I love it mommy"

"I want more"
It's hard to assume that the Taho we patronize is safe to eat because we never got sick buying Manong's Taho. There are no guarantees. Just to be safe, whenever we buy TAHO for Calleigh, we use her own cup. We just buy the silken tofu (taho) with a little vanilla (brown sugar) but NO pearls (Sago).

Now, we let her eat taho 1's a week. ^^
